It's time to change the world

When I tell people that my mother died of cancer when I was 12 years old, a common response I get is that they're sorry it happened.

What I always tell them in return is "Don't be sorry.  I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for losing my mother."

Living an ordinary life like ordinary people was never an option for me.  I always knew I needed something greater, something to accomplish that would really make a difference.

A Man on a Mission

Mark his mom and his sister

Left to right: My mom, my sister and I

I was born early one morning in the spring of 1985 - and as such, I was a gift to my mother, on mother's day.  12 years later, she gave a gift to me in return that involved the ultimate sacrifice; it was the greatest gift of all; my mother died so my life could have purpose.  Her death was an opportunity for me to live everyday with passion, intention and a deep, meaningful purpose.

If I did nothing after my mother's death and just continued to live my life, my mother would always be just another victim of cancer.  But years later I realized that if I use the pain and anger inside me to motivate me to solve cancer and share that information with the world, then my mom's legacy would transform instantly from a victim of cancer to a hero who inspired her son to save lives and change the world.

You are witnessing me live my purpose and watching it unfold live and in real time on this website.  I hope my work makes your health better or saves your life.  I hope my whole heart and soul shines through in everything I do on this site and that my passion for seeking truth transfers unto you and unto the world.

I do what I do for the children of the world.  They deserve a better future than the world we're currently living in.  Either I change the world and make it a better place for future generations, in a manner that's peaceful, respectful, creative and wise, or I die trying.  It's simple.

My thoughts on God

I also do what I do for God and under the protection of God.  I am here as a human being created in the image of God and here to fulfill his will.  If my options are to obey the will of man or to obey the will of God - I choose God, eternally.

As a man, I can't be certain whether or not there is a creator until maybe after death.  However, I've seen enough in both my own personal experience as well as the scientific evidence I've discovered in my research that I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists.

Furthermore, if the promise is eternal life for simply believing, then it's worth the very slight risk of potentially being wrong.  The morals in the bible (KJV) make for a good human being.  So here we are, there was a time I never thought I'd say it, but I am a born again Christian.

I pray for my mother, that she is in heaven with God.  I pray for my family, that they are protected and safe, and I pray for humanity that together we overcome the challenging times that lay ahead.

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
- John 8:32

Science Made Simple

My most refined skill as a health researcher is learning highly complex scientific information and making it simple so anybody can understand it.

Scientists do great work, but usually write in a language that speaks only to other scientists.  My aim is to make science simple and as practical as possible so that people can get the benefit from it right away.
