Definitely for survival times
These potatoes were dehydrated raw so they needed to be cooked about 13 minutes. Drained, seasoned and cooked on a griddle for 25 minutes. Took a lot of oil too. After almost 40 minutes they tasted just ok. Needed either eggs or cheese sauce as they were a bit dry but still not crispy like regular hash browns. Good enough for survival food but will use a bit of fuel.
